Job Title: CAN – Operations Officer III
Duration: 6 Months
Location: 4720 Tahoe Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario
Work Model: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite
ROLE SUMMARY
The Fulfilment Team is responsible for completing credit Fulfilment activities for Business Banking customers, including funding and maintenance.
The Operations Officer III executes complex credit transactions, ensures SLA adherence, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports risk mitigation within established operational frameworks.
Contractor will have access to customer data.
TYPICAL DAY-TO-DAY
- Review credit Fulfilment documentation
- Program and issue funds
- Process and execute funding transactions
- Meet 24-hour funding SLA requirements
- Support inbound and outbound operational requests
- Escalate and resolve processing issues
- Maintain documentation quality and compliance standards
- Participate in some meetings
- Interact with internal partners and occasionally external parties
MUST-HAVE HARD SKILLS
- Strong collaborative and coachable mindset
- Credit experience
- Proven ability to meet SLAs
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Banking experience
- Fast learner
- French bilingualism
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit & Funding Execution
- Review and process credit documentation
- Execute complex transactions and overrides accurately
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with internal departments for timely disbursement
Operational Risk & Compliance
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks (AML, BCM, operational risk standards)
- Exercise discretion with confidential information
- Identify and escalate high-risk issues
- Maintain regulatory awareness and policy understanding
Stakeholder Support
- Clarify credit policies and documentation requirements
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and external solicitors
- Provide analysis of process drivers and root causes
- Make recommendations for operational improvements
Process Improvement & Change
- Identify and participate in process improvements
- Support change management initiatives
- Contribute to documentation and communication of new processes

- Prepare and review TBO Reports (CAS/Branch follow-up)
- Fire Liability Reports
- Expiry Forecasts & Expiry Securities
- ARs and Discharges
Securities Role
- Execute and review securities documentation per policy
- Communicate with internal teams and external solicitors
- Ensure documentation aligns with credit risk protection standards
Funding Role – Small Business Banking
- Process funding for business credit products
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Resolve funding-related issues efficiently
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$25.00 and CA$27.00
