Program Coordinator / PMO Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid)
Employment Type:  12 month Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator / PMO Analyst to support large-scale program and project delivery efforts by serving as a key liaison between Project and Delivery Teams. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, tracking progress, managing reporting activities, and ensuring program plans remain current and aligned across multiple stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in program coordination, project reporting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication within complex project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication and scheduling activities between project and delivery teams
  • Facilitate reviews of integrated program plans and manage updates or changes as needed
  • Monitor project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and scheduling conflicts across teams
  • Prepare and distribute management reports on program and project progress
  • Track delivery status against project plans and escalate risks or issues as appropriate
  • Support resource planning activities and assist with forward-looking scheduling efforts
  • Assist with maintaining project documentation, templates, and governance processes
  • Coordinate updates related to project risks, issues, and action items
  • Support team meetings, steering committee reviews, and stakeholder communications
  • Ensure reporting cycles and documentation standards are consistently followed
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project and program plans
  • Help identify planning risks, scheduling constraints, and process improvement opportunities
  • Support PMO leadership with ongoing program coordination and operational activities
  • Maintain organized project records and ensure documentation is stored appropriately

Required Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in program coordination, PMO support, project administration, or project management support
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and reporting processes
  • Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Experience tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, and project deliverables
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate status reports and program updates
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within PMO or enterprise project environments
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or SharePoint
  • Experience supporting utility, energy, infrastructure, or large operational programs
  • Knowledge of project governance and portfolio management processes
  • Experience supporting steering committee meetings and executive reporting

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $47.00 and $52.00
