Responsibilities:
Improvement Project Manager:
- Executes process improvement projects linked to the plant’s strategic plan;
- Supports quality and process specialists in carrying out projects;
- Facilitates workshops in a DMAIC project management approach;
- Manages changes brought about by new methods.
Operations Support:
- Supports the implementation of new products;
- Technical expert: Coach operations;
- Ensures line departures;
- Participates in various operational meetings.
Knowledge Management:
- Manages process knowledge, ensures its recording, dissemination and use;
- Administers and uses POKA for instructions and troubleshooting guides.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science/engineering, chemistry or a combined equivalence with relevant experience
- Have more than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Relevant experience with different “Lean” approaches
- Interest in management (asset)
- Communicates effectively in both languages: French and English (spoken and written)
- Be available to cover different shifts as needed
- Be available for occasional travel
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70,000 and CA$85,000
