Typical Day in Role:
- Contributing to and shaping the design of digital banking experiences for millions of customers daily.
- Understanding customer needs through thorough research and usability principles.
- Advocating for improved customer interactions and journeys with inclusive design principles.
- Collaborating with various teams to create useful, engaging, and effective products.
- Supporting and communicating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development process.
- Producing visual materials to depict desired customer experiences and guide developers.
- Providing feedback within the design community and coaching junior designers.
- Demonstrating leadership by effectively communicating with partners and executives.
- UX and UI for personalization experience on client website – collaboration with business and marketing
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer
- 2+ years’ experience working with e-commerce or marketing, specifically with delivered products
- 2+ years’ experience with mapping user journeys and front-end technologies
- 2+ years’ in digital design and prototyping tools: Figma OR Sketch OR Adobe XD (preference for Figma – please list which they have)
- Portfolio available for review– showcasing Mobile designs and Web designs – delivered products which are in market with real world usage
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in large organizations
- Experience in FinTechs or other financial product fields
- Experience with/understanding of AI within product design
Soft Skills Required:
- Ability to communicate ideas visually and rapidly.
- Stakeholder management
- Positive attitude, resilience, and a growth mindset.
- Quick learner with an interest in understanding financial solutions.
- Experience applying design thinking and user-centered design principles.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Humanities, Systems Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience
Best VS. Average Candidate:
- Delivered e2e digital experiences (web or mobile)
- Showcasing the research, discovery, impact & results of designs
- Outline of the individual contribution

2 rounds of interview
1st – 30 minutes initial with Group Manager
2nd – 1 hour panel portfolio review with Group manager and others

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$50.00 and CA$60.00
