Position: Product Manager – Generative AI (Financial Services Industry)
Location: Toronto (3 days onsite)
Employment Type: 6 month contract 

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead the development of an Enterprise Generative AI solution for a prestigious Financial Services Industry (FSI) client. The role demands a seasoned professional with a strong background in FSI and, ideally, prior experience with Generative AI projects. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to drive product strategy, roadmap, adoption, and detailed requirement gathering. This role requires the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels, with a focus on building strong client relationships through regular onsite engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy & Roadmap:

    • Define the product strategy and roadmap for the Enterprise Generative AI solution, aligning with client business objectives.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance the product’s value proposition and ensure alignment with industry trends and client needs.
  2. Client Engagement:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trust and fostering strong relationships.
    • Work onsite with client teams at least three days a week to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and relationship-building.
  3. Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

    • Gather and refine requirements for product features, ensuring clarity and alignment with client goals.
    • Document detailed product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria in tools such as Confluence and Jira.
    • Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for development teams.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with development, design, and business teams to ensure seamless product execution and delivery.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment between client priorities and development timelines.
  5. Product Adoption & Delivery:

    • Drive adoption of the Generative AI solution within the client organization by showcasing its value and functionality.
    • Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements to enhance client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) is critical.
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager, with expertise in both strategic product planning and tactical execution.
  • Prior experience working on Generative AI or AI-driven projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, user story creation, and documentation using tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Generative AI technologies and their applications in FSI.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and best practices in product development.
  • Experience with change management and driving adoption of new technologies.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$105.00
