Position: Project Control Officer (PCO)
Location: Remote (Chicago/Toronto Preferred)
Team: Credit Cards, Debit, and Payment Systems (US)
Experience: 1-2 years in project administration, aiming to advance to a mid-level Project Manager role
Job Summary:
The Project Control Officer (PCO) will support the Project Manager on the Credit Card team, focusing on digital payment solutions. This role involves tracking project schedules, managing resources, and maintaining financial controls to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monitoring project progress, including scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Maintain schedules, update issue logs, and organize project documents.
- Send reminders to team members about deadlines.
- Provide support in scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and variance analysis.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and other project documentation.
- Track invoicing and payment schedules, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Coordinate project changes and integrate updates into project plans.
- Organize planning sessions to set project schedules and establish critical paths.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of project administration experience, ideally within financial services.
- Proficiency in MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience
