We are seeking a Project Coordinator (PCO) to support the Technology Innovation Group at one of Canada’s top banks. This is not a traditional PCO role focused on just managing schedules. Instead, it’s a governance-focused role that supports strategic execution, operational excellence, and agile delivery practices across a portfolio of technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a growing governance practice, focusing on improving structure, clarity, and execution processes
  • Support resource planning, tracking, and reporting
  • Manage contractor onboarding and offboarding, and other general administration
  • Build and maintain dashboards and status reports for executive stakeholders
  • Assist with roles and responsibilities refresh, governance documentation, and process documentation
  • Understand and document the software release lifecycle, including alpha, pre-alpha, and beta phases
  • Create clear and professional documentation in Confluence
  • Build Kanban boards in Jira and help teams use agile tools effectively
  • Use Excel for data analysis, reporting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and charting (pie charts, graphs)
  • Prepare PowerPoint decks using data and insights for executive consumption
  • Work in tandem with another FTE to support and optimize delivery practices

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong understanding of project governance and agile methodology
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, charts, vlookups)
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Skilled in status reporting, resource tracking, and dashboard creation
  • Strong writing and communication skills, especially for executive-facing documentation
  • Comfortable in a support capacity rather than direct project ownership

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Tableau
  • Familiarity with technology innovation or software development environments
