Job Title: Project Manager – Capital Projects (Energy / Infrastructure)

Location: Superior, Wyoming (Hybrid – onsite with some remote flexibility)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months


Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to support the execution of capital projects within an established energy infrastructure environment. This role is highly execution-focused and responsible for taking approved projects and driving them through planning, construction, execution, and closeout.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented PM who can independently manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate across stakeholders, and ensure safe, efficient delivery with minimal oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects from handoff through planning, execution, and closeout
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality across multiple projects
  • Execute a portfolio of brownfield asset replacement projects (e.g., pumps, valves, motors, pressure control systems)
  • Take full ownership of projects once equipment is ordered and drive them to completion
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and asset management
  • Manage contractors, vendors, and field activities to ensure successful execution
  • Support development of basic drawing packages and ensure alignment with project scope
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation efforts through structured planning
  • Manage Management of Change (MOC) processes and project documentation
  • Procure materials and track purchase orders and equipment delivery
  • Ensure proper documentation, financial closeout, and turnover to operations

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering capital projects as a Project Manager
  • Strong execution experience across:
    • Project planning
    • Field/construction coordination
    • Project closeout
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Background working with:
    • Field construction teams
    • Contractors and vendors
    • Operations and engineering stakeholders
  • Ability to take loosely defined scope and drive execution independently
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in energy, pipeline, or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with asset replacement / brownfield projects
  • Experience with:
    • Maximo (or similar asset/work management systems)
    • Oracle or other procurement systems
    • Management of Change (MOC) processes
    • Outage planning and coordination
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (a plus)

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $58.00 and $63.00
