We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the re-platforming of our Finance and Treasury Application, Infor ERP, from on-premises to the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, execution, and delivery, while closely collaborating with a third-party Systems Integrator (SI) vendor. This position requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, thorough experience in managing a financial organization end-end SDLC process including infrastructure intakes and setup, information security risk and compliance controls, operations readiness/production support, with effective communication skills to ensure successful project execution and delivery. Should have strong technical project management experience in global project delivery, managing a large-scale complex Application re-platform to MS Azure Cloud.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the re-platforming of the Finance and Treasury Application, Infor ERP, to MS Azure Cloud.
2. Collaborate closely with the third-party SI vendor towards project deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
3. Manage and coordinate all project activities, including governance processes, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget management, to ensure timely and successful project completion.
4. Manage the Organization Vendor Risk assessment, Information Security Risk assessment and compliance controls.
5. Through technical and analytical prowess, connect the dots/gaps in project plan and RAID to minimize the risk of unknowns during delivery execution and protect the scope of deliverables between SI vendor and Organization.
6. Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and proactively addressing any issues or obstacles that may impact project deliverables.
7. Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams, stakeholders, and the SI vendor to ensure project objectives are met.
8. Act as a liaison between the organization and the SI vendor, facilitating regular meetings, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
9. Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior management, and addressing any concerns or questions.
10. Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution, to ensure successful delivery of services.
11. Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and ensuring project objectives are met.
12. Identify and plan operations (production support) readiness checklist and transitioning.
13. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement, recommending process enhancements for future projects.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager, specifically in leading large complex re-platform of a Global Financial solution to MS Azure Cloud.
3. Domain knowledge of Finance and Treasury with is nice-to-have.
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
5. Extensive experience working closely with third-party SI vendors for project execution and delivery.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
7. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
10. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$95.00
