Job Title: Project Manager
Location: North Vancouver, BC.
Estimated Duration: 6 Months

Job Description Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of project objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The key responsibilities include managing project controls, coordinating resources, managing risk, and acting as the key point of contact between clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Controls (Monitoring Project Progress and Outcomes)
  • Prepare and present the Weekly Earned Value (EV) Report.
  • Compile and deliver the Monthly Project Report.
  • Change Process Management (ECR)
  • Manage the Change Control Process, including Impact Assessment Estimation and ECN Closeout.
  • Project Plan Management
  • Track and update project plans regularly to reflect progress.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of project progress.
  • 6-Week Look-Ahead Management
  • Collaborate on setting priorities for upcoming activities and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Coordinate with internal team and subcontractor personnel to align on 2-week activities.
  • ARAS and JIRA Management
  • Ensure the maintenance and timely update of project information in ARAS.
  • Oversee the updating of information and RFAs in JIRA.
  • Compliance with British Columbia Professional Engineering Standards
  • Ensure engineering sign-off for outfitting engineering products from overseas
  • Maintain engineering diligence in our engineering products
  • Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Maintain and update the Risk Matrix and client Risk T
  • Resource Management
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the project has the necessary personnel and materials.
  • Manage recruitment and right-sizing of project resources as required.
  • Quality Management
  • Ensure all work meets the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures.
  • Client Interface
  • Serve as the primary communication link between the client and the project team.
  • Attend all relevant client, sub-supplier, and equipment fabricator meetings.
  • Procurement (LLI Contract)
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement teams to ensure that performance, quality, and scheduling align with project requirements.
  • Production (Build Contract)
  • Take full responsibility for outfitting Fabrication, FAT Testing, and RIY compliance.
  • Oversee full responsibility for outfitting Installation.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous Project Management experience 
  • Experience working in the Marine Industry

 
 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$55.00 and CA$95.00
