Quality Engineer (Consumer Products)
Location: Toronto (Hybrid 3 days onsite DT Toronto)
Contract: 6 months (will run to end of '25 and potential extension)

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Execute and maintain end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites for web applications.
- Perform functional, UI, and cross-browser testing to validate application performance and usability.
- Conduct performance and load testing (preferably using Gatling or similar tools).
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with teams to optimize application performance.
- Implement test automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Cloud Build).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Work with GCP-based environments, helping ensure smooth testing workflows in cloud-hosted setups.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
- Strong proficiency with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs, JSON).
- Experience with test frameworks and tools such as Jest, Mocha, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$70.00
