Responsibilities
- Plan and estimate program-sized project work specific to quality management needs.
- Understand the product, identify key functionalities, and provide effective guidance on test case design to ensure high quality.
- Work with the team to analyze business and system requirements through formal or informal reviews to determine System Test criteria and govern the approach to the test effort required.
- Ensure quality assurance processes, practices, and tools are known and followed.
- Prepare training material to train testing team members on quality standards and procedures.
- Design the overall test strategy for the program.
- Create the overall test plan, test schedules, roadmaps and test exit reports.
- Design test automation and code quality strategies, including Functional, Integration, and Performance tests.
- Manage multiple quality management teams/business representatives/3rd party resources on large scale programs.
- Monitor the overall testing progress of the program, with a particular focus on Integration testing.
- Perform risk assessment analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Clear and effective communication to peers, stakeholders and executives, both verbally and in writing by creating dashboards and matrices to communicate program testing status and updates.
- Run defect management controls for large programs, including the analysis and determination of defects’ priority and severity.

Qualifications
- Quality Management: The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of Quality Management or Quality Assurance leadership experience.
- Quality experience within Asset Management, Wealth Management or Capital Markets
- Integrity: Adhere to the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and set a positive example for others.
- Relationship Management: Ability to establish and build healthy working relationships and partnerships with leaders, clients, vendors, and peers. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to connect and develop trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Able to gain commitment, trust, and support from others and sell ideas inside and outside the organization.
- Versatility and Resilience: Able to oversee large projects and excel in a complex and evolving portfolio. Demonstrate appropriate flexibility in all situations and be comfortable with ambiguity, while pivoting from macro to micro issues, from shaping the technology, innovation, digital, and strategy agenda through to end-to-end details of operations and compliance issues.
- Determination: Able to challenge the status quo. Exhibit a mindset of creativity, determination, and energetic drive to succeed. Have a proven track record of setting and meeting aggressive goals and action plans, both as an individual and with a team.
- Change Agent: Confident leader with a low ego and an ability to challenge and defend positions respectfully. Capable of building and articulating a shared vision for change, understanding complexity, identifying and resolving inconsistencies, and bringing clarity to discussions.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$90.00
