As they expand, we’re seeking a driven Research Scientist with expertise in drug delivery and pharmaceutical formulation to join their team.
About the Role:
The Research Scientist will be instrumental in driving laboratory-based research projects,
focusing on drug delivery technologies and pharmaceutical formulation development.
This role requires a strong foundation in small molecule formulation, with experience in peptides and proteins considered a plus.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead projects
while working collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
? Hands-On Research (70%): Lead experimental design and execution for drug delivery and formulation projects. Optimize small molecule formulations and evaluate potential peptide/protein-based systems. Develop and validate experimental protocols to meet project goals. Analyze and interpret data, presenting findings to internal teams and external partners.
? Project Leadership (20%): Independently manage research projects from concept to completion. Collaborate with team members to align objectives and ensure project milestones are met.
? Collaboration and Mentorship (10%): Contribute to fostering a collaborative and
innovative lab environment. Provide mentorship to junior researchers and foster
knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
? PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (required).
? Expertise in small molecule drug delivery and formulation (required).
? Experience with peptides/proteins (preferred).
? Prior postdoctoral or industry experience (preferred).
? Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
? Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive research projects.
