Position Summary:
An opportunity exists to join a well-established production team as an NDE RT Specialist at a manufacturing site located in Cambridge, Ontario. This role is crucial in supporting operational excellence, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining delivery and cost objectives. The successful candidate will perform non-destructive testing tasks in accordance with their active certifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a variety of non-destructive examination (NDE) procedures in designated shop areas

Interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings and procedural instructions

Generate inspection reports and maintain proper documentation and record-keeping practices

Apply consistent quality workmanship and follow best practices in all tasks

Maintain clear and professional communication with internal departments (such as engineering, operations, quality, and project teams) and external stakeholders when required

Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and environmental standards

Maintain compliance with all productivity and quality control expectations
Required Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated dedication to safety in the workplace
-
Must currently hold MT Level 2, PT Level 2, and RT Level 2 certifications, in addition to two (2) of the following:
-
CEDO certification
-
UT CGSB-1
-
RT CGSB-1
-
2+ years of fabrication/machining inspection experience at a comparable facility
-
5+ years of experience in fabrication/machining inspection with verified documentation from an external company, or 5+ years of hands-on experience in fitting/welding within a similar production setting

Certified Welding Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB Level 2)

Previous experience in a heavy industrial or highly regulated technical environment, such as power generation or similar fields

Strong commitment to maintaining quality standards and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team

Comfortable using standard office and inspection-related computer software

oWeekday days: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
oWeekday afternoons: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
oWeekend days: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours) OR
oWeekend afternoons: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$106,350.40 and CA$106,350.40
