RTU Support Analyst/ICS Systems Analyst II
Job Summary:
Provide expert-level support for Measurement Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) used in natural gas custody measurement, ensuring accurate data retrieval for business users.
Responsibilities:
- RTU Expertise: Provide expert assistance on Measurement RTUs and associated equipment (ControlWave, AutoExec, AutoFlex, AutoPilot, Bristol 33xx, Benchmark, Floboss).
- Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with Field Technicians, Regional Measurement Engineers, and Business Partners to ensure accurate gas volume measurement, operational safety, and data integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Produce quality technical documents and instructional materials for field technicians.
- Training & Support: Deliver training and expert troubleshooting for field personnel, both remotely and on-site as necessary.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison for business users, assisting with data and interface needs related to measurement operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level knowledge in natural gas measurement calculations, meters (orifice, rotary, turbine, Coriolis, ultrasonic), and communication protocols.
- RTU Software: Proficiency in software for RTU communication and operation.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to support field tech staff, team members, data customers, and management.
- System Knowledge: Deep understanding of systems interfacing with measurement data for pipeline operation and control.
- Test Plan Development: Experience in developing and implementing test plans for equipment.
- Training & Documentation: Expertise in creating instructional documentation and training for field technicians.
- Troubleshooting: Advanced troubleshooting skills for resolving complex issues with field personnel.
Preferred:
- Education: Two-year degree in a related measurement field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in natural gas measurement.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Primarily office/lab setting with occasional on-site support in harsh weather conditions.
- Physical Labor: Moderate physical activity may be required.
- Emergency Response: Availability for emergency situations.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $45.00 and $50.00
