We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Sales Manager / Director to drive business growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and continue building long-term customer relationships.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Sales Manager / Director in the windows and glazing industry, you will leverage your expertise in sales strategy, market penetration, and customer relationship management to develop and executing plans to increase revenue and market share. You will work closely with senior leadership and other departments to shape and execute sales strategies, ensuring our products and services meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy:
    Lead the sales department, setting both short- and long-term strategic goals for growth in target markets. Ensure alignment with company objectives and identify opportunities for market expansion.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, including architects, contractors, general contractors, and property developers. Ensure that customer needs are understood and met, leading to high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Execution & Performance:
    Oversee the development of proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new business and retain existing clients. Ensure sales activities align with overall business goals and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the glazing and windows market. Use this knowledge to make informed decisions on pricing strategies, product offerings, and new market opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Coordination:
    Collaborate with project management, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and the delivery of quality solutions that meet client specifications.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    Develop and manage the sales budget. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities to meet financial targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Industry Experience:
    7+ years of proven success in a sales leadership role within the windows and glazing industry. Experience with commercial is a must.
  • Sales Expertise:
    A deep understanding of the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals and drive market share expansion.
  • Client-Focused:
    Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on delivering exceptional service and building long-term partnerships.
  • Communication & Negotiation:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications or an MBA are a plus.
