Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a short-term contract to support and enhance our Salesforce platform. This role will focus on development and configuration across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE / Pardot). The ideal candidate is hands-on, delivery-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Build and customize Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce as needed
- Configure and optimize MCAE (Pardot) including automations, forms, segmentation, and integrations with Salesforce
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
- Implement declarative solutions such as Flows, validation rules, approval processes, and custom objects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployment using Salesforce best practices
- Support data migration, data quality initiatives, and reporting as needed
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer at the end of the contract
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Proven experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot/MCAE)
- Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce Flows
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Familiarity with Salesforce deployment tools and environments (e.g., change sets, CI/CD)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
Nice to Have
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or MCAE)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Prior contract or short-term project experience
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$95.00
