Our client has launched a major business transformation of its financial system, driven by the implementation of SAP S4/HANA to enable future-state business processes. Modules that are involved in this transformation include Project Systems, Asset Accounting, Finance and Controlling, Funds Management, Grants Management, Treasury, Logistics and Sales and Distribution. The project is currently in the Deploy phase.  
The SAP Functional Consultant – Project Systems will complement the Client's existing A2R team.

The City of Toronto has launched a major business transformation of its financial system, driven by the implementation of SAP S4/HANA to enable future-state processes. Modules that are involved in this transformation include Funds Management, Grants Management, Treasury and Risk Management, Finance and Controlling, Asset Accounting, Project Systems, Logistics and Sales and Distribution. The project is currently in the Deploy phase. 

The SAP Functional Consultant – Funds Management (FM), Grants Management (GM), Treasury (TRM) will complement the Client's existing Treasury and Funds Management team.  

Assignment Duties
 
The SAP Functional Consultant – FM, GM, TRM will become a member of the hypercare team for the project.  The resource will.
 
•            Provide support for triaging support tickets, trouble shooting, issue identification and defect resolution. 
•            Support the PMO in the prioritization and implementation of items deferred to the post go-live period.  This will include.  
o            Configure S/4 with changes prioritized for implementation
? Validate proposed functionality and alignment to leading/best practices design specifically as it relates to FM, TRM.
o            Develop functional specifications for development objects o Reviewing/updating test script and test cases, identification of test data, test execution 
o            Update business process documentation and provide input to updated polices required to support newly implemented functionality
o            Development of risk mitigation strategies, etc.  o Development of communication and any new or updated training material required.
•            Work in collaboration with the Business Process Lead and vendor lead informing the design, development and configuration of the SAP solution and its integration with SAP and non-SAP solutions.
•            Support the FM, TRM team providing SAP knowledge/expertise/leadership. • Analyze the City’s end to end FM, GM & TRM process and identify areas of improvement and how these can be addressed leveraging Standard SAP functionality. 
•            Identify linkages to other key processes to support reporting. 
•            Help the City validate proposed functionality and alignment to design with the Systems Integrator and provide their experience in leading best practices.
•            Provide leadership of business processes, accounting principles, systems configuration, enhancements and data to enable related processes.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience in large project/program management with Government jurisdictions and or large private sector organizations.

2.           Expertise and experience in SAP S/4HANA modules; Funds Management,
Grants Management, Treasury as well as knowledge of  SAP Finance,
Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems,  
SAP Certification FM, GM, Treasury would be an asset;
a.           Experience or Knowledge of any of the following functions will also be an asset; Budgeting, Planning, Availability Control, Grant
Proposal, Award, Grant Execution and Reporting, Treasury Operations, Debt Management Cash/Liquidity Management, Risk Management.  
3.           Extensive experience providing support during hypercare period of a project implementation and transitioning to sustainment
a.           Experience in troubleshooting, problem resolution during post go-live period 
4.           Expertise in configuration of S/4 HANA modules FM, GM, TRM as well as understanding the integration to FICO 
5.           Experience in delivering at least 2 end-to-end implementations.  Implementation in a public sector environment with S/4HANA would be an asset.
6.           Strong knowledge of test methodologies. Extensive experience with traditional and innovative project management processes, techniques, tools across agile, waterfall, iterative methods and associated tools including PMBOK or SAP Activate Methodology. 
7.           Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Change Request will also be an asset.
8.           Ability to work in transformative programs.
9.           Strong in process management and controls to minimize risks exposure.
10.        Ability to lead efficient communication between all project stakeholders, including internal teams and clients.
11.        Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.
12.        Excellent written & verbal communication skills (comfortable & confident communicating at all levels, including business partners, leadership and vendors).
13.        Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
 
Deliverables  
1.           Functional specs for development objects.
2.           Test plans, test cases, use cases, user stories, scenarios and results documents.
3.           Documentation of various types of tests (unit, functional, integration, system, regression, penetration, performance and user acceptance testing).
4.           Process and configuration documentation.
5.           Options documents to support decision making by project leadership. 
6.           Key decision documents.   
7.           Other analyses and reports for Management as needed.
8.           Input for training and sustainment model
9.           Documentation of issues and risks
 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$95.00 and CA$110.00
