Our client is seeking a Specialist to support a system to convert SAP Crystal Reports to SAP Webi (Web Intelligence).
The Specialist is required to understand existing PTP Crystal Reports together with Oracle stored procedures that the reports are based on, and then recreate the SAP Webi report, unit test, and compare the results between Crystal Reports and Webi reports.
Duties

- Responsible for the design, develop, test, implementation, and successful delivery of SAP Crystal reports conversion to SAP Webi.
- Responsible for understanding how the existing SAP Crystal reports work based on Oracle stored procedures.
- Responsible for learning and understanding the governance and implementation of technology, processes, procedures, and overall delivery of Crystal reports to Webi conversion initiatives.
- Manage, deliver, and ensure quality outputs and deliverables using appropriate methodology.
- Report on status, risks, success criteria as required related to work assignments.
- Perform other duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years hands-on experience with development / sustainment of large-scale, complex relational data-modelled IT solutions
- Extensive experience in SAP Business Objects BI (4.0 or higher) design and development for Crystal Reports, including crystal report layout, sub reports, formulas, summaries, groups, cross tabs, charts, etc.
- Extensive experience in SAP Business Objects BI (4.0 or higher) design and development of Webi Reports, including Webi report layout, building query, formulas, formatting, filtering, analyzing, chart, export, etc.
- Extensive experience in data analysis, using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL coding techniques to extract, and report upon, business information, trends, insights, and metrics from data stored in one or more databases.
- Extensive experience supporting complex database schemas, including data architecting, data modelling, data normalization, ETL processes, performance optimization, and administration with Oracle 19c or higher.
- Considerable experience in all stages of the system development life cycle, utilizing an enterprise architecture approach and software development methodologies.
Deliverables
- Create Web Intelligence file based on Crystal reports and Oracle stored procedures.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, scenarios, and results documents.
- Execute various types of technical tests (unit, functional, regression, performance and user acceptance testing);
- Analyse results and create and update progress tracking reports for Management as needed.
- Track problems, defects, and issues within the project.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$75.00 and CA$105.00
