Change Management Specialist – Capital Markets Initiative & Project Delivery

Role Summary
Capital Markets Initiative & Project Delivery (CMIPD) is the central function supporting initiative delivery across Capital Markets. We provide governance, tools, and expertise to ensure initiatives are:

  • Effectively mobilized
  • Delivered in a structured and consistent manner
  • Supported with appropriate change management  

The Change Management Specialist in CMIPD is a hands-on change practitioner who partners with project teams and business leaders to ensure employee and client impacts of change are understood and effectively managed throughout delivery.
This role will actively drive change management for more complex initiatives including those with a high client impact and large technology transformations such as AI.

Key Accountabilities

  • Build trusted relationships working with accountable executives, business owners, project leaders, and project managers on the people related impacts, adoption risks, and change interventions required for successful delivery.
  • Coach and integrate with project teams on change strategy and impact assessments to translate findings into practical Change Artifacts with clear linkage to business impact, stakeholder adoption, and successful change outcomes.
  • Develop and execute change strategies for AI initiatives, addressing stakeholder awareness, engagement, readiness, adoption, and sustainment.
  • Ensure front-line employees are equipped to explain changes, respond to questions, and support clients effectively.
  • Provide constructive challenge and recommendations where delivery decisions may affect employee or client experience, readiness, and adoption.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to use AI to improve change delivery and the employee and client experience.

Qualifications 

  • Typically between 5 – 7 years of relevant experience in project and change management
  • Strong experience leading change for complex projects, programs, transformations, integrations, or regulatory initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience applying structured change management methods, including employee and client change activities, supported by practical project management experience.
  • Experience engaging senior leaders and working across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and other control functions.
  • Experience developing communications, learning, stakeholder-engagement and readiness for digital readiness including AI-enablement activities.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Digitally Savvy in use of AI tools such as Copilot.
  • Capital Markets experience is an asset.
  • PMP / Prosci / Agile certification (PMI-ACP or CSM) preferred

Success Measures 

  • Interaction is timely, practical, proportionate to the change, and integrated into project decision-making. 
  • Leaders and people managers are equipped to sponsor and reinforce the change. 
  • Change management contributes to successful business transformation while strengthening both employee and client relationships.
  • Employees demonstrate readiness and confidence in adopting AI-enabled tools and new ways of working.
  • Reusable tools, templates, and approaches are developed to improve future change initiatives.
  • Change lessons learned are captured and incorporated into future transformation efforts.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$105.00
