Senior Communications Advisor
Role Overview: The Senior Communications Advisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the business objectives of the Enterprise by managing communication efforts for multiple projects in Texas and Louisiana, particularly focusing on the US Gulf Coast. This position is responsible for crafting public messaging, coordinating content development, and ensuring consistent communication delivery across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop key messages and Q&A materials in collaboration with project experts, legal teams, and integrated project teams.
- Oversee the entire communications process, from gathering data, writing messages, and incorporating subject matter expert (SME) input to legal review and finalizing deliverables.
- Create a variety of communication materials, such as blogs, opinion editorials (Op-Eds), fact sheets, web content, and other collateral to support projects.
- Distribute and manage the dissemination of communication materials.
- Recommend and implement communication strategies and responses for project needs.
- Ensure project messaging aligns with company values and is delivered effectively and consistently to key audiences by closely coordinating with regional leadership and the Public Affairs and Communications Services (PACS) team.
- Actively participate in project meetings and strategy discussions regarding communications and permitting.
Scope & Impact:
- Work autonomously to plan and execute communication strategies with minimal oversight, occasionally leading small teams on specific initiatives.
- Engage with senior leadership and project management, ensuring communications align with corporate and project objectives.
- Foster strong working relationships across various departments, including project management, joint venture partners, and other business units.
- Adapt to rapidly changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support a variety of communication needs as they arise.
Collaborative Relationships:
- Collaborate with all levels of project management, joint venture partners, and affiliated entities.
- May direct external consultants or internal corporate communications team members on specific tasks or projects.

- Deep understanding of external communication best practices and a proactive approach to staying informed of industry trends.
Technical Skills:
- Exceptional writing skills, especially for external audiences.
- Strong ability to listen, identify key communication issues, and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills to quickly assess complex situations and craft clear, effective messaging.
