Job Description

The Senior Information Security Operations Specialist is responsible for providing 24/7/365 operational support, monitoring, and governance for Enterprise Cryptographic Services (ECS) platforms. This includes key cryptographic lifecycle management, certificate lifecycle management, and secrets management across production and non-production environments. The role ensures availability, integrity, and security of cryptographic services while supporting audit, regulatory, and risk requirements aligned to frameworks such as PCI DSS and NIST.

Cryptographic Operations & Platform Support

  • Monitor and support platforms including key, certificate, and secrets lifecycle management
  • Provide 24/7/365 monitoring and incident response for pillars under Enterprise Cryptographic Services (rotational)
  • Execute service requests and operational activities within SLAs

Incident Management & Service Restoration

  • Coordinate incident management, troubleshooting, and service restoration
  • Engage internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues

Security Control Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, NIST, and enterprise standards
  • Support audits and regulatory evidence collection
  • Produce operational reporting

Documentation & Operational Excellence

  • Maintain procedures, documentation, and user guides
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate across internal teams and vendors
  • Provide subject matter expertise

Automation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive automation using Python or scripting
  • Improve workflows and system integration

Strategic Initiatives Support

  • Support PQC readiness, CBOM, and TLS 1.3 initiatives
  • Partner with PKI Engineering and ECS teams

Tools & Training

Training will be provided on internal platforms and tools used for Operational Support. Rapid ramp-up and independent ownership are expected.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • 4–7+ years experience in cybersecurity or operations
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Security or equivalent
  • Knowledge of cryptographic systems
  • Understanding of PCI DSS and NIST
  • Scripting and automation (Python preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$40.00 and CA$50.00
