Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance during the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services.
- Conduct quality review of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services.
- Working closely with IT stakeholders, assist in the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services.
- Provide contact negotiation consultation to IT contract managers.
- Conduct review and assessment of existing IT contracts (goods & services) and provide recommendations as appropriate.
- Consult, analyze and evaluate existing IT contracts, and document contractual requirements for new contracts and renewals.
- Identify contract lifecycle, including schedule, renewal, expirations.
- Develop (and track) contract (procurement) status.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders.
- Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Maintain, monitor, and record information in database/repository utilized for IT contracts.
- Meet schedules and time lines.
- Be a flexible, resourceful and creative problem solver.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized degree or diploma in an IT related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience.
- Minimum 10 (ten) years of Information Technology industry experience.
- Minimum 10 (ten) years of experience developing and managing technology contracts (goods and services).
- Minimum 5 (five) years experience writing procurement and contract artefacts for technology goods and services.
- Supply Chain certification, such as APICS/SCMP considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of IT categories, including software, hardware, Cloud services and IT consulting.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle and category management principles.
- Understanding of software licensing, Contract Law, Cloud contracts and IT service level agreements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, relationship building and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex contract requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$50.00 and CA$50.00
