We are looking for a Project Manager who will help drive the successful delivery of software projects and continuous improvements to our financial technology platform.

Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing end-to-end delivery of software initiatives — from planning and requirements through execution, testing, and release. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Software Development, QA, and Operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our client’s strategic goals.
Your primary focus will be overseeing projects related to software delivery, product enhancements, system integrations, and technology upgrades that support our growing fintech application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple software delivery projects concurrently.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Facilitate collaboration across teams (Product, Development, QA, Security, and Operations).
  • Provide regular updates, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage expectations, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Delivery & Quality Management
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product enhancements and system improvements.
  • Work with QA and Product teams to validate requirements and testing outcomes.
  • Champion agile and iterative delivery practices to improve velocity and predictability.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Drive process improvements in project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization of initiatives.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions.
    Qualifications & Skills
    Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing software delivery or product enhancement projects, ideally in a fintech, SaaS, or payments environment.
  • Experience with Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) is an asset.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product delivery processes.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or Asana).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with payment systems, banking integrations, or financial compliance standards is a plus.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$95,000 and CA$105,000
