Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of Bloomberg’s TOMS (Trade Order Management Solutions) system, specifically focusing on bonds trading systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets, project management experience, and in-depth knowledge of Bloomberg TOMS, particularly as it relates to fixed-income trading workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the implementation of Bloomberg TOMS for bonds trading from initiation to go-live, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including Bloomberg representatives, to gather requirements and provide project updates.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze current bonds trading workflows and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency through TOMS integration.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks during the implementation process and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Training and Support: Facilitate training sessions for end-users focused on the bonds trading functionalities and provide ongoing support post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- 8+ years of project management experience in capital markets, with specific experience in implementing Bloomberg TOMS or similar trading systems focused on bonds trading.
- Strong understanding of bonds trading workflows, order management, and capital markets products.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$100.00
