Our client is one of the nation’s leading banks and they are looking for a Senior PM with Capital Markets Regulatory Change Management experience to join their PMO Group.
Typical Day in Role
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors with primary Project Manager
• Project forecasts
• Weekly project status reports
• Project plan updates
• Project resource tracking
• Assistance for sources onboarding and approvals
• Tracking of source system changes
• Scope
• Testing activities co-ordination
• Project documentation
• Operation readiness doc
• Privacy Impact Assessment
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5 – 7 years supporting medium to large sized projects as a BSA, PCO or PM
2) Knowledge of Capital Markets Industry proven through Recent project experience (minimum 1 year) – ideally supporting AML Regulatory Projects
3) Excellent communication skills – successful candidate demonstrates good writing and documentation skills
4) Excellent relationship building skills – can communicate with varying stakeholders at multiple levels in different situations (e.g., one-on-one interviews, formal requirements gathering sessions, etc.)
Degrees or certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance-related field (Economics, Finance, etc) or technical (Computer Science, Engineering etc.)
Nice-to-have skills:
-Previous technology migrations is a big plus and will be prioritized*
-Project Management Professional (PMP)
-MBA (or equivalent Master’s degree)
-Technology and Infrastructure change experience considered a strong nice-to-have
-Change Management experience with is a big plus
– Open to contractors with shorter term contracts (but longer term is still preferred)
– Focus more so on release management of the project scope
– Change Management experience with is a big plus
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$105.00
