Project Manager – Internal Software Development & Architecture
Position Overview
The Project Manager – Internal Software Development & Architecture will lead projects focused on building, enhancing, and modernizing internal applications and technical architecture. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable internal systems that support business operations, technology strategy, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Software & Architecture Project Management

Manage end-to-end delivery of internal software development initiatives, including new applications, platform enhancements, and architectural modernization.

Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to translate technical strategies into executable project plans.

Coordinate dependencies across systems, infrastructure, and application layers.
Planning & Delivery

Define scope, milestones, resources, and timelines for multiple concurrent projects.

Track progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Support release planning, testing coordination, and deployment readiness.
Collaboration & Governance

Facilitate collaboration across Development, QA, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.

Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, security standards, and documentation requirements.

Provide regular reporting to leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Continuous Improvement

Improve internal delivery processes, tooling, and development workflows.

Support technical debt reduction and system reliability initiatives.

Contribute to long-term technology roadmaps.
Qualifications & Skills

10+ years of experience managing internal software development or enterprise technology projects.

Strong understanding of SDLC, system architecture, and application integration concepts.

Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.

Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in fintech, SaaS, or regulated environments is an asset.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$110.00
