The incumbent will address issues around duplicate listings, unregistered operators using fake registration numbers to post listings on company platforms, as well as registered operators using the same registration number to short-term rent several properties. The application will support the more efficient compliance and management of the bylaw in real-time, remove a lot of manual compliance activities being conducted now to determine operators that are not in compliance, as well as address complaints that are currently received from legitimate operators that are de-listed in error. The resource will also help build automation into the verification process.
