Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid)

Join a collaborative Cybersecurity and DNS team working on solutions that help protect Canadians and improve the security and resiliency of internet infrastructure. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on meaningful cybersecurity products while contributing across software development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop secure cybersecurity products and backend services.
- Translate business and security requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Investigate complex application performance, security, and interoperability issues.
- Contribute to architecture, code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.
What You Bring
- 7–10 years of professional software development experience.
- Advanced Java (Spring/Spring Boot or Play Framework) or Python experience.
- Strong cybersecurity and secure application development experience.
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, Docker, Linux, and Bash.
- Understanding of DNS and networking technologies.
- Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as EDR/XDR, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is an asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$120,000 and CA$130,000
