Job Title: Senior Solution Analyst- Data & Analytics
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 8 Months
Overview
Our Client is seeking a Solution Analyst – Data & Analytics to support Project Goshawk as part of the EVCAN acquisition and integration initiative.
This role will support the analysis, migration, and integration of enterprise data assets between EVCAN and Client environments. The successful candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, SMEs, and business stakeholders to analyze source data structures, document requirements, perform data mapping and profiling activities, and support testing efforts across multiple data platforms.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment where many source systems, datasets, and business processes will be discovered and documented throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical data requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand source system data structures and reporting needs.
- Work with Data Engineers and Developers to support data migration and integration initiatives.
- Perform data mapping, data lineage analysis, data profiling, and impact assessments across multiple systems.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, process flows, mapping documents, and solution documentation.
- Design and execute test cases to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Support data reconciliation and validation activities during migration cycles.
- Identify data quality issues and assist in remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, SMEs, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, or related disciplines.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and data requirements.
- Strong SQL experience across enterprise database environments.
- Experience performing data analysis, data profiling, and data mapping.
- Experience developing test cases and supporting testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience collaborating with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale data migration initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise data platforms and databases.
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or enterprise integration programs.
- Insurance industry experience.
- Knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter or other insurance platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working in cloud-based data environments.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$100.00 and CA$110.00
