Description
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Senior Testers to support and execute testing within a Large Transformation Program at client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and end-to-end business process validation across retail platforms such as SAP, Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM), Blue Yonder (BY) product suite, or GK POS.
This role requires a strong understanding of retail business cycles, system integrations, and complex testing coordination across multiple applications and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Support Functional, System Integration Testing (SIT), End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Validate business processes across integrated retail systems and applications.
- Execute testing activities aligned to project timelines and release cycles.
- Participate in test readiness assessments and defect triage sessions.
Defect Management
- Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira or equivalent defect management tools.
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, vendors, and functional teams to resolve defects.
- Support root cause analysis and defect trend reporting.
- Ensure defects are properly documented with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Retail Systems & Business Process Validation
Validate workflows across retail operational areas such as:

- Inventory Management
- Warehouse Operations
- POS Transactions
- Pricing & Promotions
- Product Management
- Replenishment & Fulfillment
- Understand retail operational cycles, peak periods, and year-end/seasonal testing considerations.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Participate in daily testing status meetings and provide execution updates.
- Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.
- Assist in test metrics reporting and testing documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software testing within enterprise environments.
- 3+ year of Retail Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher computer science, business, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms:

- Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM)
- Blue Yonder (BY) product suite
- GK POS
Strong experience with:

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- POS with Store Operations;
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience working in Agile, Hybrid Agile, or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, test management tools, or release management processes.
- Exposure to enterprise integrations and middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of supply chain, merchandising, and/or marketing & omnichannel processes/systems is a strong asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$68.00 and CA$76.00
