Social Media Manager, Communications (Contractor)
Our major enterprise SaaS based financial software client is searching for a social media manager with experience in social media content creation, influencer marketing, analytics and reporting.
This is an opportunity for a high-performing, driven, collaborative, self-starter who can play a key role in developing and executing Canada’s social media and influencer marketing strategies.
The social media manager will work with cross-functional internal teams and agency partners to develop social content, manage content calendars, support community management initiatives, spot trends, manage influencer marketing programs, and provide comprehensive social voice-of-customer reports.
This role is an individual contributor and supports the company’s Global Communications organization.
Skills:
  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in an agency or corporate environment, consumer, tech or finance preferred;
  • Ability to create culture-first, trend-driven social content for channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Snap; Experience in developing and executing innovative, impactful, social media and influencer strategies;
  • Possess a strategic mindset, a creative approach, and proven ability to execute;
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and competing priorities;
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to develop comprehensive reports that translate data and insights into actionable recommendations;
  • A roll-up your sleeves get-it-done mindset;
  • A passion for pop culture and an ability to engage diverse audiences; High degree of attention to detail;
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity;
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and collaboration skills;
  • Team player player with a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate proactively with key stakeholders;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation skills;
  • Early adopter of social media technologies with broad platform experience;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to inform decision making;
  • Excited to work in a hybrid role based in Toronto, Canada and prepared to come into the office two – three days per week.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in social media, communications, marketing, or a related field.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$42.00 and CA$52.00
