SCOPE
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and project managers, to ensure that solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective. The Solution Architect provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support.
DUTIES
Develop comprehensive architecture and design for IT solutions that address business needs, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Design integration strategies that ensure seamless interoperability between new and existing systems, optimizing data flow and system efficiency.
Develop end-to-end data architectures, including data modeling, storage solutions, ETL processes, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
Technology Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate data technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., databases, cloud services, big data tools) that meet business and technical needs.
Integration: Design strategies for integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across the organization.
Provide guidance and oversight to development teams during the implementation phase, ensuring that the solution is developed according to the architectural design and best practices.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Must Have:
• At least 3 years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering or application resiliency or disaster recovery design
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Solution Architect or in a similar role involving the design and implementation of complex IT solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience with AWS or Azure or private clouds
• Proven track record of delivering successful technology solutions that align with business goals.
Nice to have:
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar.
• Proficiency in software development methodologies and languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python).
• Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., APIs, microservices, ESB) and data management practices.
• Experience working as a Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE role
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, automation) to enhance the efficiency and quality of solution delivery.
