SCOPE
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions that meet business requirements and align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and project managers, to ensure that solutions are technically sound, scalable, and cost-effective. The Solution Architect provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support.
DUTIES
Developing a technology roadmap and bring business ideas to production surrounding web applications for a digital experience platform. This will included knowledge in CMS (TeamSite/Livesite, WordPress) , Search using Fusion, Analytics based on Adobe analytics, Personalization using Adobe target, a Digital asset management (DAM) while managing older applications that use WebLogic , Word press .
Will need to work with business to do discovery and IT reviews
DURATION AND POTENTIAL START DATE
Targeted start date: September 30th, 2024
End date: September 30th, 2025 (1 year with the possibility of extension)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
Core Technology Skills
- Content Management Systems (CMS):
- Proficiency in Interwoven TeamSite/Live Site for content management and delivery.
- Expertise in WordPress for managing content and integrating with other systems.
Search Technologies:
- Knowledge of Fusion for search and data integration capabilities.
Analytics:
- Expertise in Adobe Analytics for tracking and analyzing user behavior and performance metrics.
Personalization:
- Proficiency in Adobe Target for creating personalized user experiences.
Digital Asset Management (DAM):
- Understanding of digital asset management systems to organize, store, and retrieve digital assets efficiently.
Legacy Technologies:
- Java EE and WebLogic: Experience with Java EE technologies and WebLogic server for managing enterprise applications.
- JSP/JSF and Prime Faces: Proficiency in Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Server Faces (JSF), and Prime Faces for building and maintaining older web applications.
Front-End Technologies:
- Angular Framework: Deep understanding of Agular’s architecture, including components, services, directives, modules, and dependency injection.
- TypeScript: Expertise in TypeScript, as Angular is built with it.
Development Tools and Practices
- Node Package Manager (nm.): Familiarity with npm for managing packages and dependencies.
- Version Control Systems: Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
Architectural Skills
- Design Patterns: Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for scalable and maintainable code including Headless cms patterns.
- Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices architecture and how to integrate various applications and services.
Additional Skills
- Responsive Design: Understanding responsive web design principles to ensure applications work well on various devices and screen sizes.
- Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools like Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor for unit and end-to-end testing.
- Build Tools: Experience with build tools like Webpack or Angular CLI for optimizing and bundling code.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and optimize applications.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor development teams, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
- Strategic Skills
- Technology Road mapping: Ability to create and manage a technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and ensures seamless integration of new technologies.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
