Position Title: Solution Architect
Location: Scarborough, ON
Duration: 12 months

Story Behind the Need
Business group: Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) – Global Platform Engineering
Global Platform Engineering encompass all engineering team across the bank. With talented and highly experienced engineers, Global Platform Engineering teams have the responsibility of designing, planing, and deploying solutions for almost every technology used in the bank, whether on-prem or in the cloud, following Enterprise Architecrure principals, and security best practices.
The contractors will be assigned to Active Directory Engineering team
Projects: Each Contractor will be mainly part of a single project, however they are expected to assist with other tasks assigned to Active Directory Engineering team. The two main projects

• US Nexus Active Directory Remediation Activities
• Entra ID hybrid Join Migration activities.

Typical Day in Role:

• Attend weekly project meetings, provide technical advice related to Active Directory, GPOs and AD trusts based on analysis of collected reports as well as recommending best practices.
• Implement changes following client CAB standards.
• Identify gaps in the current standards.
• Identify and remove GPOs and AD trusts based on analysis output.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of working experience as a System Administrator and AD SME
• 10+ years of hands-on technical working experience in supporting & deploying AD (Active Directory), GPO (Group Policies), DNS (Domain Name Services), AD trusts, AD security, & privileged access in a large corporate environment with 10,000 end-users or more.
• Hands on Experience interacting with internal and external audit teams
• Skilled in PowerShell (ability to analyze and repurpose scripts to adapt to different objectives), as well as productivity tools
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in complex and global Active Directory infrastructure

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of project management principles
• Previous FI/Banking experience is a plus.
• Skills in PowerBI is an asset (visualize data and create dashboards)

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work closely with internal and external business partners, technical peers, and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team and work independently with minimal direction.
• Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale project.

Education & Certificates:

• Industry certification such as Microsoft and/or Cybersecurity certification required.

Best VS. Average Candidate:
Best candidate who will meet the 10-year requirement leading, or acting as technical SME, in projects with AD and security in 10000+ users organization

1st round – Teams – 45 mins – 1 hr – HM +Panel (Intro + Technical)
2nd round – Teams – 45 minutes – HM (Soft skills +technical)
