The Contractor will assist the team with a Migration and decommissioning and other goals as needed by the team and the Investment Data program.
- Analyze and develop extensive knowledge of data inputs, transformation and outputs that currently exist within our environment, for the purpose of pricing, blowouts, and stress testing. This requires knowledge of SQL, Stored Procedures, securities pricing, and risk management concepts.
- Coordinate with other team members and other project stakeholders to identify, manage and resolve dependencies. Where required, provide technical background on such dependencies in order to engage the right skillsets at the right time.
- Develop and manage own workplan, with support and guidance from other existing team members, with deep understanding of required tasks, dependencies, sequence and overall project progression across other stakeholders.
- As needed, provide updates on workplan execution and forward look.
- Write requirements / specification documents, in order to migrate existing inputs, logic and outputs, from one system to the new target architecture.
- Prototype new inputs, logic and workflow, in new target architecture, using common languages (primarily SQL)
- Coordinate with other stakeholders as requirements are implemented and tested, including the provisioning of testing environments and data to enable such tests.
- Document test plan and results, including overall run book of universe of inputs, logic, workflows and outputs migrated or implemented net new in the new process.
- Such other services as the parties may agree in writing, from time to time.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$110.00
