Job Title: Sr Change Management Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months
 

 

Any specific tools/skillset:

Experience:

  • 8+ years extensive experience performing change management within programs and projects; within large, complex organisations, preferably in regulated environments.
  • Strong hands?on expertise in change management, training, process optimization, operating model design, and outcome definition.
  • Proven experience working on initiatives across Wealth, Insurance, Group Benefits, Operations, or similarly complex business domains.
  • Experience in the Wealth business would be an asset

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Technology teams on readiness and adoption planning and support.
  • Solid understanding of end?to?end delivery lifecycles, including governance, testing, and implementation readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior business and delivery leaders.
  • Ability to balance enterprise standards with pragmatic, delivery?focused execution.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable outputs.

What you will do

  • Lead end?to?end change management (CM) and project readiness activities for complex, cross?functional initiatives within assigned business areas.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to define clear problem statements, business goals, desired outcomes, and success measures.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document end?to?end change support deliverables, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment to business outcomes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of detailed current?state and future?state business process models across people, process, and technology dimensions.
  • Support Day?2 support models and sustainment plans including actions, roles, hand?offs, and operational impacts.
  • Partner with Technology, Change Management, Process and other teams to plan and deliver support for the rollout of technical changes to meet business intent.
  • Provide status reporting and information updates to support operational and executive decision?making.
  • Ensure change management deliverables align to enterprise change management standards, templates, and practices defined by the CM practice.
  • Act as a trusted change advisor within delivery teams, proactively identifying change risks, gaps, and dependencies related to scope, requirements, or outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CM practice through input to standards, templates and training.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85.00 and CA$92.00
