Job Title: Sr Data Analyst/Jr Data Scientist
Location: 3 days onsite (airport)
Position Type: Expected 6-month contract

About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and outcomes-driven Senior Data Analyst or Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team. This individual will go beyond simply pulling data—they will uncover insights, develop hypotheses, and deliver strategic recommendations that drive real business impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end analysis of customer, product, and marketing data to identify growth opportunities and drive decision-making.
  • Apply statistical methods such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and clustering to uncover patterns, trends, and drivers of business performance.
  • Lead or contribute to A/B testing initiatives to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize spend and targeting.
  • Create predictive models and forecasting tools to support business planning and revenue strategy.
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations that clearly communicate insights to stakeholders, with a focus on ROI and actionable outcomes.
  • Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data (SQL, Python, etc.) and synthesize insights from multiple sources, including customer feedback.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and finance teams to translate complex analytics into strategic actions.

Qualifications

  • For Senior Data Analyst:
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and one scripting language (Python or R)
  • Experience with A/B testing, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Proven ability to deliver insights that influenced business outcomes
  • For Junior Data Scientist:
  • 1–3 years of experience in a data-driven role
  • Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning concepts
  • Hands-on experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly and concisely
  • The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$65.00 and CA$70.00
