Job Title: Sr Manager, DevOps Platform Engineering

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Responsible for maintaining and leading the DevOps Platform portfolio and team, including Atlassian Data Center (Jira, Confluence, Crowd), GitHub Enterprise (Self-Hosted), Jenkins (CI), JFrog Artifactory, Harness (CD), SonarQube (Code Quality & Security), Feature Flags Management, GitHub Copilot, and SCA & SAST Integration using BlackDuck and Checkmarx One (Cx1). Oversees the DevOps Platform Engineering portfolio and provide leadership and support to the team. Application Owner and primary contact for DevOps applications
within the organization. Maintain DevSecOps Platform roadmap align with engineering and bank’s requirements.’
 

  • Accountable and Responsible for maintaining the DevOps Platform portfolio and team.
  • Oversees the DevOps Platform Engineering portfolio and team, and provide leadership and support
  • Application Owner and primary contact for DevOps applications within the Tangerine organization.
  • Maintain DevSecOps Platform roadmap align with engineering and bank’s requirements
  • Supports the Team in engaging the necessary representatives to resolve escalated issues, provide coordination and facilitate resolution
  • Provide advice on project executions and issues escalated by the team. Receive updates on progress/status & key issues and risks
  • Liaison between Project Teams for cross organization efforts.
  • Deliver at scale and create value for organization.
  • Support DevOps Platform Team, Monitor progress and act when decisions are required.
  • Consolidate status reporting highlighting risks & issues to leadership
  • Consolidate and manage spend and forecast for run rate, new implementations and operationalization
  • Secure alignment with all stakeholders to streamline and leverage analysis/activities where applicable to minimize negative impact / rework (minimize oversight)
  • Lead, Design and build robust and scalable DevSecOps Platform. Assist and coach peers to maintain a highly available platform.
  • Identify and interpret business requirements, strategize to ensure they are complete and meet standards
  • Assist on creating and improving DevSecOps Platform roadmap
  • Drive developer workflows integrating DevSecOps platform ensuring operational efficiency and seamless integrations.
  • Plan and lead the implementation of DevSecOps tools’ software upgrades/migrations, including the underlying infrastructure and database to align with the bank’s standard and maintain software currency portfolio.
  • Support technical team in critical incidents. Provide subject matter expertise to peers and stakeholders
  • Perform architectural design, new technology evaluations and research to scale existing platform
  • Evangelize Agile methodologies. Be well versed in DevSecOps processes, concepts, technologies and methodologies.
  • Proactively identify gaps, Solution Design implementations solving complex problems and provide effective solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Proactively engage in conversation with the vendors.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$90.00
