Position: Sr Product Manager
Location: Toronto (3 days onsite)
Employment Type: 12 month contract
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Capital Markets team. You will play a critical role in driving the development and success of our next-generation capital markets products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, manage product roadmaps, and ensure successful product launch
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for initiatives within our client.
- Gather and document product requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficient and timely product development.
- Manage product backlog and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with stakeholders to drive programs and product goals.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides and training materials.
- Analyze product performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive product launches and manage product lifecycle.
Manage multiple, concurrent projects and programs from initiation through delivery in the Capital Markets domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, and timelines. - Executive presence and drive program delivery conversations with senior stakeholders
- Facilitate coordination among technology, operations, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless execution of initiatives across different functions.
- Provide timely and accurate program reports to stakeholders and senior management, detailing progress, financials, risks, and mitigation strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager, with a strong focus on capital markets products.
- Deep understanding of capital markets products and processes.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience with financial technology startups.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for capital markets products
