About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art ordering application for a fleet management company. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, working with business teams, executives, and technical professionals to ensure project success. While this is not a technical role, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading technology-driven projects and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

The role will be delivered in an Agile environment, requiring adaptability, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to managing iterations and stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive the successful end-to-end delivery of a new ordering application.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including business teams, executives, and technical teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed Agile project plan, identifying key milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and clarity on project goals.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage project execution, facilitating stand-ups, sprints, and iterative planning.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project progress and potential roadblocks.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in Agile project management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology-driven initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multimillion-dollar projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of ordering applications, preferably within e-commerce, logistics, or fleet management industries.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, leading sprints and iterative development cycles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring both perspectives are effectively represented.
  • Demonstrated success in driving projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation technology industries.
  • Familiarity with order management systems and modern digital platforms.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or PMI-ACP.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$100.00 and CA$125.00
