Job Title: Strategic Business Intelligence Consultant
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 6 Months

Role Summary
The Internal Audit Copilot Advisor enables audit teams to use Microsoft Copilot efficiently and responsibly throughout the audit lifecycle. This role focuses on practical, audit ready use cases, coaching, and governance aligned adoption to improve productivity, consistency, and quality—without compromising audit standards or professional judgment.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Enablement & Coaching

  • Train IA team members on day to day Copilot usage across:
    • Audit planning & risk assessment
    • Process understanding & walkthrough documentation
    • Test control design and operating effectiveness
    • Issues, findings, and executive summaries
  • Translate Copilot capabilities into audit specific prompts and workflows
  • Provide hands on coaching during active audits (“should I use Copilot here and how?”)

Guardrails & Quality

  • Define acceptable vs. unacceptable Copilot use within IA
  • Embed QAIP, methodology, and documentation standards into guidance
  • Help teams craft prompts that produce defensible, auditable outputs

 Use Case Development
Develop and maintain a library of:

  • Approved prompts
  • Audit examples (planning memos, test steps, issue wording)
  • Do / Don’t guidance by audit phase

Identify opportunities where Copilot saves time without adding risk
 Change & Adoption

  • Act as a single point of contact for Copilot questions in IA
  • Drive the change management mindset and behavior in IA team to adopt co-pilot usage during day-to-day audit work
  • Support rollout of new Copilot features
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve guidance

MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

  • Copilot experience 3 years
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook) and Internet applications
  • Proficient to work multi-functionally, provide guidance to other team members and ensure good relations across teams and functions to work on projects that may require integration of cross functional processes
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment
  • Internal/ external audit experience

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$66.00 and CA$76.00
