 POSITION TITLE: Supervisor, Business Transformation
REPORTS TO: Manager, Data and System Engineering
SCOPE OF POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Supervisor is to manage project delivery and the day-to-day support for information systems, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally to support Canada’s business operations. This includes overseeing Salesforce-related applications, tools, and services for business departments, customers, dealers, and other IT areas. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions, managing a team of developers and delivery leads, and providing technical support and guidance. Success in this role will be measured by the timely completion of projects, healthy production system, customer satisfaction, issue resolution time, team performance, and budget adherence
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions; This includes working with Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data cloud and Experience Cloud to create robust and scalable solutions.
• Manage day-to-day activities of a team of developers and delivery leads; Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet business requirements.
• Support team members during escalation and conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge in application development processes from requirements gathering, design, development, testing to implementation.
• Strong process engineering skills: Strong skills in process engineering and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team of developers and delivery leads: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of managing and leading a team of developers and delivery leads.
• Provide coaching and guidance both on the project and technical front to help develop the team.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback: Regularly review the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
• Other duties such as (1) providing outstanding customer service, (2) organizing and directing the associates assigned to them, (3) be responsible for any support projects assigned, (4) creating project plans and schedules and (5) executing improvement plans.
• All other duties as assigned by manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
• University degree -Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering.
• Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Certified Architect, Salesforce Certified Consultant.
• IT experience of 7-10 years.
• In specific IT area to be managed… 1 to 2 years related experience is ideal.
• Have managed teams / departments greater than 5 people.
• Project Management and Production Support experience.
• Previously managed medium to large projects.
• Conflict Resolution.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Various technical skills and understandings (based on specific functions to be managed), Customer Service, Communication, People Leadership.
• Project Management experience.
• Good understanding of IT technologies (Application Development, Web Technologies,
Databases, Integration and Network / Security protocols.
• A good understanding of Salesforce technologies and Business Process Re-engineering frameworks.
• Various Project Management and development lifecycle methodologies including Agile / Hybrid Agile processes and governance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise: Be the go-to person for resolving technical issues that arise during the development process.
• Project Organization, Planning and Scope Management experience.
• Understanding of Code and release management.
• Change Management Processes.
• Risk and Issue Management.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with all members of the team.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships within North America as well as all other internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, establish and maintain good working relationship with North America suppliers, partners, consultants, stakeholders and other network contacts.
