Supply Chain Manager
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage supply chain and procurement strategies for major construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, risk management requirements, and delivery objectives.
- Develop and maintain forecasts for materials, equipment, and subcontractor capacity to ensure supply continuity and mitigate risks related to market volatility and supply chain disruption.
- Oversee supplier and subcontractor prequalification, sourcing, negotiation, and performance management to ensure compliance with project standards, quality requirements, and value-for-money principles.
- Implement and enforce procurement policies, commercial terms, and risk treatments to drive cost efficiency, ethical sourcing, and compliance with applicable procurement legislation and trade agreements.
- Collaborate closely with project management, construction, estimating, finance, and commercial teams to monitor procurement performance, delivery forecasts, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- An advanced degree (e.g., Master’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management).
- SCMP designation.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$100.00
