Job Title: Surintendant en batiment

Location: Quebec, QC

Estimated Duration: Fulltime

RESPONSABILITÉS

• Gérer l’exécution des travaux de construction;
• Appliquer les plans et devis et s’assurer du respect de l’échéancier;
• Suivre le rendement des sous-traitants;
• Coordonner l’avancement du projet avec l’équipe de projet : sous-traitants, contremaîtres, gérants de projet, directeur de projet.
• Assurer la qualité du travail exécuté;
• Appliquer les des politiques de santé et sécurité au travail;
• Participer aux réunions de chantier;
• Compléter le rapport journalier des travaux et quantités.

EXIGENCES

• DEC en génie civil ou en architecture, DEP en construction, compagnon, ou toute autre combinaison d’expérience et de formation équivalente;
• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente;
• Détenir une bonne connaissance: des équipements, des normes d’exécutions, des méthodes de travail;
• Connaissances informatiques: MS Project et Suite Microsoft Office;
• Être bilingue français et anglais (atout).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the execution of construction work.
• Apply plans and specifications and ensure compliance with the schedule.
• Monitor the performance of subcontractors.
• Coordinate project progress with the project team: subcontractors, foremen, project managers, and project director.
• Ensure the quality of the work performed.
• Enforce workplace health and safety policies.
• Participate in site meetings.
• Complete the daily work and quantity report.

REQUIREMENTS

• DEC in civil engineering or architecture, DEP in construction, journeyman certification, or any other combination of experience and equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of equipment, execution standards, and work methods.
• Computer skills: MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual in French and English (an asset).
