Qualifications and Experience:
- University degree in Business Administration or Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Minimum ten (10) years of application systems experience performing requirements elicitation and analysis, facilitating workshops with business stakeholders, and documenting business requirements for large-scale technology implementation projects.
- 10+ years experience with Maximo (v8 or v7), Technical/Functional Skills Strong Expertise in IBM Maximo Asset Management / IBM Maximo Application Suite
- Extensive experience supporting the implementation and sustainment of large-scale IT solutions including analysis, architecture, design, testing and roll-out.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience evaluating, recommending, and documenting business workflow, procedures, roles & responsibilities and systems integration and conversion strategies. Considerable experience documenting “as-is” and designing “to-be” business processes, utilizing Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard.
- Experience to identify and implement opportunities for business improvement, collaborate effectively and productively with other department leaders without conflict or confusion.
- Experience in QA and testing techniques, including planning, creating test data, and conducting functional testing, facilitating UAT and other types of testing in an enterprise environment; experience with HP ALM suite would be an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of current and emerging information & technology concepts such as mobile computing, GUI design principles, document management, business/data modelling methodologies, information management, data analysis, business intelligence, Agile methodologies, multiple-platform, network centric computing environment.
- Experience with Maximo implementation is an important requirement, most notably serving the areas of asset management, including planning, preventative maintenance, capital project delivery, contract/vendor management, service requests and work orders using web, geospatial and mobile technology.
Assignment of Duties
- Lead the transformational project of implementing MAS to replace the existing Maximo system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design system solutions.
- Manage system integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Provide ongoing support and ensure continuity of service for the Maximo system.
- Process documentation/validation/review, procedures, roles and responsibilities, data sets, and prepare other documentation as required, in accordance with the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standard.
- Support the development of the City’s Enterprise Work Management Program
- Ability to collect, interpret, and represent information in ways that are easy to read and understand.
- Assist with the development of technical scope documentation for procurement of professional services and other system requirements.
- Assist with the development of common enterprise standards, work management common process definitions and design considerations for the work management solution.
- Take responsibility for eliciting, documenting, and confirming decisions related to business requirements, Investigating, and noting where they have an impact on common, enterprise-wide work management system requirements.
- Possess critical mindset and a creative approach to design innovative and effective solutions to new and existing problems.
- Evaluate and assess system and design options, document non-functional requirements.
- Traceability Matrix between requirements and test cases Quality Assurance Management including test planning, test case development and execution, User Acceptance Testing support, user training, roll-out activities.
- Workshop/meeting logistics, minute-taking, prepare status reports, summaries.
- Prepare business operational procedures and training materials, identify and document sustainment needs.
- Other duties and project support activities as required by the Project Manager

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$77.00 and CA$87.00
