Then our client is the place you want to be. We are looking for an energetic individual for the positions of Technical – Customer service representative, in our component repair & overhaul team. The candidate should possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills along with a willingness to learn and grow within our global organization. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Duties include, but not limited to:
• Oversee the department who process customer inquiries related to repair and overhaul and provide ongoing training to build the strength and knowledge of the team
• Locate approved sources of supply throughout North America using a strategic assessment process
• Review components and parts manuals
• Identify items for in house capability for based on research and forecasting and customer base
• Making decisions related to technical matters as they arise and determine the best course of action for MHDR and the customer
• Provision on bill of materials related to reoccurring contracted repairs as well as promote program pricing to ensure customer base is consistently supported
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors through consistent interaction and updates
• Utilizing reporting tools at hand to ensure on-time delivery and achieving and surpassing budgets and our success rates and making adjustments to the work scope accordingly
Working hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am-5:00pm and from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Fridays, with flextime hours (subject to supervisor’s approval), and remote working available based on specific criteria (e.g. government requirements, accommodation of personal appointments, road conditions, etc.).
Experience –
• Customer service: 2 years (required)
• Customer service experience in the aviation industry and general mechanical/technical knowledge are considered strong assets.
Qualifications
• Secondary School (Obligatory)
