The technical writer will support the Digital and Modernization unit in the delivery of multiple procurement initiatives.

Duties
This is a request for a Technical Writer (RFS) to support multiple required outcomes:
- Write RFP content for PDF accessibility roster and setup & manage roster contract management
- Write RFP content for CDRL RFP
- Write SOW /MOU for Not-for-profit services
- Write LVQ content
- Write Standards, Procedures and Guidelines
- Write Intranet content
- Support contract administration, including SOW preparation for blanket contracts and rosters
Experience and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a professional discipline pertinent to the job functions (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, etc.) and relevant management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
- Extensive experience leading technology procurements and related operations in a largescale public or private sector organization including the preparation of Requests for Proposal, Requests for Supplier Qualifications, Requests for Quotations (RFI/RFQ/RFP), Vendor Agreements and Statements of Work.
- Extensive experience on various financial and procurement practices both for lines of business and project.
- Experience negotiating large, complex technology sourcing contracts and managing legal and contractual obligations.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and PDF accessibility requirements is preferred
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters, managing competing deadlines with multiple tasks/projects.
- Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels of the organization, internal partners, and suppliers.
- Effective analytical and decision-making skills, demonstrating innovation, fiscal accountability, results based and customer-oriented leadership.
- Knowledge of the theories, principles, practices, and procedures related to purchasing.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$95.00
