Job Title: Technology Communications Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

What You’ll Do
 We are seeking a talented Technology Communication Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technology and communications, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences. This role involves working closely with Technology teams, project managers, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure that all communications related to technology initiatives are effectively managed and executed.
 Responsibilities
- Create and manage a variety of communication materials including emails, newsletters, presentations, technical documentation, FAQs, user guides, and intranet content.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide updates on technology initiatives and strategic changes. Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings on key technology projects and initiatives.
- Work closely with Technology teams to gather information and develop communication plans that align with project timelines.
- Develop campaigns to promote understanding and engagement with new technologies within the organization.
- Collaborate with HR, corporate communication to teams to create external communications related to technology innovations, product launches, or corporate announcements. Ensure all external communications are aligned with the company’s brand voice and strategic goals.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve communication strategies and materials.
- Monitor the effectiveness of communications through surveys, analytics, and other feedback mechanisms.
- Act as an advocate for technology initiatives within the organization. Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation through effective storytelling and engagement strategies.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a communication role within a technology-driven environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing software, etc.
- Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in internal communications and change management.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$85,000 and CA$106,000
