Job Title: Training Professional – ADMS project

Location: Langley, BC (Remote)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Training Professional for their  Langley  location.

Overview:

Our client is looking for a  Training professional who will be responsible for developing and delivering activities that will drive stakeholder awareness, readiness and adoption through the change of the clients Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS).

Role Accountabilities
 

  •  Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and project team to help gather and confirm training requirements and organizational context
  • Apply client guidelines, standards and templates and use common Instructional Design tools to develop courses (eLearning and instructor-led) and supporting materials (e.g. trainer guides, videos, job aids)
  • Prepare in-system training exercises to support successful instructor-led training delivery
  • Support development of business trainers and delivery of Train-the-Trainer sessions

Education and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Change Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related discipline
  • A minimum ten (10) years of change management experience or equivalent.
  • Advanced instructional design software skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral, writing, presentation/training and interpersonal)
  • Quick learner and technical aptitude, with an ability to synthesize and make sense of information from multiple sources
  • Organized, self-starter and takes initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  •  PROSCI certification and/or certificate/diploma in Instructional Design/Adult Education are assets
  • Experience with distribution control systems is an asset

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$73.50 and CA$91.00
